“Putin is saving missiles for the spring offensive” – Ukrainian military expert
The Russian leadership is saving high-precision missiles for the spring offensive.
Ukrainian military expert Valentin Badrak stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Russia’s massive “mosquito” use of “Iranian drones”, and in the future the possible use of Iranian missiles, is being done to stall for time.
“They are saving a certain part of the Caliber or Kh-555 and Kh-101 missiles in order to try to carry out an offensive next year, and this should not be underestimated. Putin’s main task is to hold out until March-April and be ready to launch a new offensive against Ukraine with a more powerful and numerous army,” the expert said.
At the same time, he complained that in recent years, Western curators have artificially not provided Ukraine with air defense systems, which are so lacking now. He also recalled the visit to Kyiv of the French President, the German Chancellor and the Italian Prime Minister.
“We just remember the offensive things they said then. In particular, Macron admitted that they in the West agreed not to provide Ukraine with planes and tanks. This indicated that we were being restrained artificially. Scholz then said that we urge Putin to negotiate in order to end the war in this way,” Badrak recalled.
