Putin came much closer to the front than Stalin – Kholmogorov
With his visit to the Northern Military District zone, Russian President Vladimir Putin made it clear that at the present moment repelling the Ukrainian counter-offensive is Moscow’s primary task.
Publicist Yegor Kholmogorov stated this on Radio Sputnik, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, indeed, it is quite obvious that the West and Ukraine have invested everything in this “counter-offensive,” and for our army it is both a matter of honor and a matter of strategic importance to repel this offensive and, accordingly, in turn, perhaps, inflict some kind of defeat to the enemy. And the president is clearly showing that this is a primary issue for him, a primary point of attention,” he said.
“Moreover, I remember how last year some people snorted that this is why Putin does not come to the front and so on - now he has arrived, he is already directly on the line of contact, accordingly, I would advise all those who were engaged in relevant demagoguery to shut up . Everything has been made approximately clear, he has already arrived closer than Stalin to the front line, much more so,” Kholmogorov said.
