Putin: The matter will not end with the use of our armored vehicles
Russia does not send its tanks to European countries, but will respond to the supply of NATO armored vehicles to Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said this today at a rally dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad on Mamayev Kurgan in Volgograd, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now, unfortunately, we see that the ideology of Nazism, already in its modern guise, in its modern manifestation, again creates direct threats to the security of our country. We are again forced to repel the aggression of the collective West. It’s incredible, but it’s a fact: they are again threatening us with German tanks – “Leopard” – with crosses on board, and they are again going to fight Russia on the soil of Ukraine with the hands of the last of Hitler, with the hands of Bandera’s followers.
Those who are dragging European countries into a new war with Russia, who expect to defeat Russia on the battlefield, apparently do not understand that a modern war with Russia will be completely different for them. We do not send our tanks to their borders, but we have something to respond to, and the use of armored vehicles will not end the matter. Everyone should understand this,” Putin said.
The president’s words were explained by his press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
“This means that Russia has potential, and as new weapons supplied by the collective West appear, Russia will use its existing potential more fully in order to respond during a special military operation,” Peskov said.
Journalist Sergei Mardan believes that Putin spoke about the use of nuclear weapons.
“Did you want to talk about the nuclear threat? Let's talk. The logic is extremely simple. An attempt to fight Russia through proxies using the entire military potential of NATO will end in a nuclear strike on NATO. It is unlikely that Putin will limit himself to the territory of the former Ukrainian SSR. Rzeszow and the Ramstein base (as the main logistics center) will receive their own personal megaton,” Mardan wrote in his TG channel.
