Putin called for punishment for breaking military contracts

Vladimir Putin shared these plans today at an extended meeting of the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“We must be aware that for such a large-scale rearmament program, five years is not such a long time. Any delay in completing her tasks can cause a failure in the production chain, which will then be very difficult to restore. Therefore, sanctions for breaking contracts should be as strict as possible,” Putin was quoted as saying by the Kremlin’s official website.
The Russian President emphasized the importance of maintaining the current pace of rearmament of the army and navy.
