Putin will cross the Crimean Bridge driving a car
The President of the Russian Federation is going to drive across the Crimean Bridge while driving a car. He stated this during a quick interview at a media forum in St. Petersburg.

The Kerch Bridge is being built at the expense of the federal budget within the framework of the Federal Target Program “Socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol until 2020” without attracting extra-budgetary funding. The estimated cost of the project is 211,9 billion rubles in prices of the fourth quarter of 2015.
Car traffic on the bridge will open in December 2018, train traffic in 2019. The state contract for the design and construction of a bridge across the Kerch Strait was signed on February 17, 2015 by the Federal State Institution “Department of Federal Highways Taman” of the Federal Road Agency of the Russian Federation and Stroygazmontazh LLC.
