Putin inspected the Crimean Bridge. The West knew about the visit and decided to spoil it?
Russian President Vladimir Putin drove a car across the Crimean Bridge, where today the section of the transport crossing damaged as a result of the terrorist attack on October 8 was reopened. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government Marat Khusnullin, who is in charge of the project, reported to the head of state how the restoration work was proceeding, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As I understand it, the left one is in working order, but, nevertheless, it was still a little damaged. It must be brought to an ideal state,” Putin suggested.
“Yes, Vladimir Vladimirovich, she is in limited working condition,” confirmed Khusnullin. “From the very first days, we put it in order, strengthened it, and started traffic on it. But, in the future, of course, if you order, we would also bring it into normal compliance, so that it would be the same as the right one.”
Khusnullin added that out of 55 days of repair and restoration work, 22 days were in stormy weather. Based on this, new unique technologies were applied.
“So that even at that moment when there was a storm and it was impossible to work with water, we still worked from the ground. We had to involve divers so that the destroyed part of the bridge could even be cut sharply at the bottom in order to quickly dismantle it and free the bridge support on which to install new spans,” said the Deputy Prime Minister.
Political scientist Sergei Markov believes that Vladimir Putin’s trip across the Crimean Bridge is a demonstrative act.
“This is a clear signal that Russia will not give up Crimea to anyone under any circumstances. And for Putin, Crimea and the Crimean Bridge are symbols of his role in Russian history. The return of Crimea to Russia is apparently the act of Putin that is most supported by the Russian people. And Putin knows and feels this,” the expert comments.
Russian Foreign Ministry speaker Maria Zakharova confirms that this is a signal for Kyiv.
“Everything that bunker Zelensky should know about PR,” is how Zakharova captioned the footage of Putin on the Crimean Bridge.
By the way, the internal opposition did not miss the moment to criticize the president - the communists decided to find fault with the fact that Putin was driving a Mercedes.
“Well, how is that? Why not on a Lada, or at least on the so-called Moskvich?” – asks Moscow City Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Ekaterina Engalycheva in her Telegram channel.
Russian radio host Dmitry Konanykhin believes that the attacks on Russian airfields the day before were specifically timed to coincide with Putin’s upcoming trip to Crimea.
“The Anglo-Saxons organized a strike on the strategic air base in Engels, probably knowing about Putin’s visit to the Crimean Bridge. It’s amazing how well the West works with the information field and blocks out any positive signal from Russia with a strong media move, and, preferably, on the eve of the weekend, so that the average person absorbs the picture, or from Sunday to Monday, in the hope of weakening the attention of security structures,” writes Konanykhin in on your blog.
