Putin flushed Ukraine down the “information toilet” – ex-BPP deputy
The information campaign to discredit the former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and his team was allegedly a plan by Russian leader Vladimir Putin to destroy Ukrainian statehood.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Oleg Barna stated this on the Ya-UA TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This discrediting of our eighth convocation of parliament, which, by the way, no matter how much it was criticized, was mostly pro-Ukrainian,” was dictated from the Kremlin. This was a scenario for the institutional destruction of our country - that is, to arouse distrust in society towards state institutions - the institution of President Poroshenko, the Verkhovna Rada, the Cabinet of Ministers,” the gunsmith argues.
According to the former parliamentarian, it was allegedly not possible to find any negativity towards the previous Kyiv government, so “Russian propaganda” launched fakes.
“But they (in the Kremlin - editor's note) had nothing about political activities, and began to simply slander and spread fake news. There was nothing to show, and they showed what the deputy eats, who he goes with, and where he runs to the toilet. This was information garbage, I would even call it an information toilet,” Barna said dashingly.
