Putin: The US “rudely and brazenly” deceived Russia regarding Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that the United States deceived him for the first time during Euromaidan. He stated this in the film “World Order 2018,” which its author Vladimir Solovyov posted today on social networks.

“So rude and impudent, perhaps, for the first time. So that they would say: let’s do it this way, but in fact they did everything differently and didn’t even deign to say anything about it, this probably didn’t happen,” Putin said.
He said that after the conclusion of an agreement between Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and the Euromaidan leaders, “American partners” approached him.
“They asked us to do everything, I am now saying almost word for word the request, so that Yanukovych does not use the army, so that the opposition vacates the squares, administrative buildings and moves on to implementing the agreements reached to normalize the situation. We said: ok. A day later, a coup was carried out,” Putin said.
The Russian president was especially struck by the fact that the Americans did not even try to justify themselves, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Well, at least they would have called, they would have at least done something, they would have at least said a word. At least they said that there was an excess of the performer, that we did not want this, but we will do everything to return everything to the legal field. Not a word, on the contrary, full support for those who carried out the coup. They did it with their own hands and cannot help but support the current government. They have painted themselves into a corner,” Putin said.
