Putin: freedom of business is the best answer to sanctions

This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking today at the congress of the all-Russian public organization “Business Russia”,
“This is the best answer to any external restrictions, the only way to the well-being of our citizens. Now we have managed to stabilize the economy. But, of course, our goal is broader, more – to reach sustainable growth rates,” the Kremlin’s official website quotes Putin.
The President emphasized that contacts between business circles play an important role in expanding Russia’s cooperation with other countries.
“Business Russia enterprises already supply their products to more than 120 countries around the world. But, of course, this is not the limit: the potential is much higher. I am convinced that it is domestic non-resource companies that will be able to take leading positions in the markets of the future, which are associated with a new technological structure,” Putin said.
He recalled that Business Russia enterprises created almost a million jobs in industries with high added value and provided more than a hundred billion rubles in annual tax revenues.
