Putin has completely changed his position regarding the South-East - “UDAR”
Kyiv, May 08 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – President Vladimir Putin’s unexpected call not to hold a referendum in the Donbass on May 11 indicates the weakness of the Russian Federation’s position in the confrontation in the Southeast.

People's Deputy from the UDAR faction Pavel Rizanenko stated this on the air of the Kyiv Channel 5.
“We see a very strong change. Because even before Tuesday, what did we hear from Mr. Putin? In Kyiv, acting the president is illegitimate, but at the same time we say, “Okay, we have elections on May 25, the new government will be legalized.” He says “no, it’s inappropriate to hold elections.” This was a clear demonstration of the duality of the position that Russia and Putin are not interested in stabilizing the situation in Ukraine, but what is happening, on the contrary, is an attempt to destabilize the situation and impose an agenda from the outside,” the politician noted.
“Today we see a total change - elections are already needed. The fact that he said that the referendum does not need to be held on May 11 also means that the anti-terrorist operation is a success, they do not completely control the region, and they understand that they cannot hold a referendum there,” emphasized Pavel Rizanenko.
