Putin: Ukraine and Georgia will not help NATO
Russia has developed a new weapon that allows it to strike the decision-making centers of NATO countries as quickly as possible, even if the alliance theoretically in the future will be able to place its bases on the territory of Ukraine and Georgia and try to attack the Russian Federation from there.
President Vladimir Putin stated this at a meeting with journalists, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to him, Russia will be able to place the new missiles on ships and submarines.

In response to a clarifying question from journalists about what will happen if NATO in the future will be able to launch missiles at Moscow from the territory of Georgia or Ukraine, and their flight time will be halved, Putin replied:
“You count, I said, you know how to count: 9 machs - so many kilometers. How many minutes will it be? ... Calculate how much it will be. Both Georgia and Ukraine will not give them a big win. “This will all correspond to the level of threat created for us,” the Russian President assured.
As PolitNavigator reported, political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko, who previously worked for Yulia Tymoshenko’s headquarters, proposed placing US missiles in Ukraine aimed at Russia.
“The American military needs closer deployment, at a distance of 500 km, allowing full control of Moscow’s missile shield. But the missiles that may appear in Poland, the Baltic states, Romania and, finally, in Ukraine will finally remove the issue of military-political parity. It will be very difficult for Russia. And we should rejoice,” Nebozhenko said.
