Putin has already realized that the time has come to solve the Ukrainian problem
Kyiv has not succeeded and will not succeed in turning the overwhelming majority of its country’s population into notorious Russophobes, but this is not a reason for Russia to continue to delay solving the pressing problem.
Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Artyom Olkhin stated this on the First Republican TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we turn on Ukrainian television, it’s complete schizophrenia. But - oh, happiness! – young people don’t watch TV. I don't think they managed to brainwash everyone there.
I'm afraid of something else. Once upon a time, out of curiosity, I went to the Internet channels of Transnistrian and television channels and read the comments of the local population. They have been living in such limbo for 30 years and hate everyone - Moldova, the PMR’s own authorities, they hate Russia because they believe that something should have been done long ago to take them away.
This is what we really have to fear. We don’t need to be afraid that everyone there will be washed out and everyone will become stubborn crests. Only those who are in nationalist organizations at the call of their hearts become stubborn, frostbitten nationalists there, and this is 2-3% of society. Or those who, while earning money, voice this agenda.
The total number of people in Ukraine is still not subject to this,” he said.
Artyom Olkhin added that in Ukraine many people don’t even watch television because they realize its toxicity.
“But I don’t think this is a reason to relax and think that we can wait another 10-15 years. The problem should already be solved, everything is literally crying out about it.
But, as I understand it, Russia also understands this, as does Putin,” the deputy minister concluded.
