President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin intends to create an electronic system to track the transit of Ukrainian goods.

He stated this at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Bishkek.

“Another element of strengthening the EurAsEC is the interconnection of the information systems of our government agencies, primarily customs services, in order to create a mechanism for monitoring the movement of goods across the territory of the Union,” said the head of the Russian Federation.

According to him, this would make it possible to liberalize and improve the solution of such problematic issues for the transit of goods from third countries, including Ukraine.

“The introduction of this electronic system for tracking the movement of goods would help our partners,” Putin concluded.
