On the eve of the recent NATO summit in Warsaw, bravura sounds of fanfare were heard from Ukraine, indicating the approach of another “peremoga”. Pro-Khunta media, pretending to be conspiratorial, talked about the imminent strengthening of Ukraine through: A) the formation of a Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian brigade, Be) the creation of special operations forces, Tse) the construction of a new cartridge plant under the auspices of NATO to replace the one remaining in Lugansk.

Of all the above, the implementation of point “A” seems to be the most realistic, since NATO is very interested in creating a triple brigade with headquarters in Poland. Various details, such as the size, purpose and armament of the joint brigade remain unknown, except that the start date of its formation is called - July 25.

There is very little information available about the possible construction of a new cartridge plant, and it is quite possible that it will remain one of the many stillborn projects.

But the most relish and juice is, of course, the creation by Ukraine of special operations forces, as is very carefully emphasized, with the direct participation of NATO and according to NATO patterns.

Here it should be immediately noted that throughout the 25 years of “independence” the path taken by the Ukrainian special operations forces was nothing more than a rake procession through continuous losses and thorns to complete disgrace.

When leaving the USSR, in addition to other troops, units and equipment, Ukraine received three ground and one naval special-purpose brigade: the “eight” in Izyaslav, the “nine” in Kirovograd, the “ten” in Old Crimea and the former 17th on Maisky Island , that Ochakov, shortly before the collapse of the USSR, was demoted in status to MRP (marine reconnaissance point).

The 8th and 9th brigades were units of constant combat readiness, and the brigade in Kirovograd, in addition to everything else, was a Special Training Center for Soviet special forces.

The Old Crimean “ten” was a cadre unit (out of four detachments, two were deployed throughout the state), but it was unique in its own way, since officers and warrant officers who had just completed Afghanistan came to serve in it. The level of training of the personnel of the “ten” allowed its reconnaissance groups to repeatedly win at “races” - at special competitions of special forces reconnaissance groups - competitors from more eminent units. In addition, astronauts were regularly brought to the brigade for parachute jumps. And this was obligatory.

The catastrophe for the former Soviet, and now Ukrainian, special forces began in the spring of 1992. Kravchuk’s promises, scattered on the eve of the referendum on “independence”, remained on paper.

From the very beginning, the Independent “elite” began to build its Armed Forces with an eye to confrontation with Russia. Special forces were no exception. Thus, the deputy brigade commander of the G1992, Hero of the Soviet Union (!), Lieutenant Colonel Yaroslav Pavlovich Goroshko, in the spring of XNUMX, invited officers and warrant officers of the brigade to his office, and without any beating around the bush asked a direct question: “Are you going to fight with the Muscovites?”

The head of the former 17th brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Karpenko, acted almost in the same spirit, trying to deceive his personnel into taking the Ukrainian oath immediately after the “independence” referendum. Needless to say, this resulted in an outflow of the best people from the Ukrainian special forces?

As a result, Kuchma got special forces - not special forces, but a real suitcase without a handle. The Old Crimean “ten” were “reformed” into the 1st airmobile regiment. The “Eight” and “Nine” were castrated by Ukrainian vivisectors into reinforced battalions, which on paper and in reports were listed as “special operations regiments.”

As for the previously mentioned Lieutenant Colonel Goroshko, he ended badly. Soon he was promoted to head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And in 1994, while visiting a detachment of special forces officers on Rybalsky Island, Goroshko, being a “lander,” arrogantly climbed into the depths in light diving equipment, from where he was pulled out without any signs of life. Actually, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Goroshko, thereby indicated the main direction of movement of the Ukrainian special forces.

As you know, if something is constantly being reformed and rebuilt, then this something is not viable in principle. In the end, what was left of the 1st airmobile regiment was merged into the Crimean territorial group of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and became the special forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the form of a separate mountain rifle company "Lavender", a separate special forces battalion "Cobra" and a company of secret operations "Shadow". From the scraps of the Ochakov MCI, it was possible to form a naval detachment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Scat” for mine clearance and anti-sabotage warfare. What made these “special forces” with big names famous? Nothing. All information on their combat training activities was drowned out by mosquito squeaks.

By the way, if anyone doesn’t know, in terms of the number of different “special forces” with pompous and terrifying names, Ukraine, until February 2014, was ahead of the rest. And it so happened as a result of independent “reforms” that, except for smashing bottles on their heads and tearing unfortunate toads with their teeth in all kinds of window dressing for Independence Day, the Ukrainian “commandos” didn’t know how to do a damn thing. This is what the fighting in Donbass showed.

In the Donbass, Ukrainian “rangers” died in batches, were captured, gradually disappearing from all military reports, including the phantasmagoric propaganda of the head-hat Tymchuk.

For the last two years, those responsible for the military policy of the embattled Ukraine have been in a difficult situation where hatred is fighting with envy. This is the reason for the action of the Senezh MTR detachment in Crimea during the Crimean Spring, which worked so meticulously that the Peninsula was reunited with Russia with virtually no losses. On the other hand, the complete failure of their own “plastuns” directly pushed for the creation of new Ukrainian special forces on the principle of “know ours!”

What is currently known about the plans for their construction of the MTR comes not from Poroshenko, the National Security and Defense Council or the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but from the Patriot training center and the United Ukrainian Call.

It is pointless to retell the concept of special operations forces of Ukraine they published, like any empty projects generated by the twilight Selyukov consciousness.

According to the assurances of “experts,” this document was prepared by specialists who directly train soldiers and officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In fact, the work of sleepless nights is an eye-rolling vinaigrette from the combat manuals of the US Army Rangers during the Cold War, posted on the Internet for public consumption, diluted with extracts from war propaganda of the Discovery Channel, accompanied by a long list to Santa Claus: “Dear Grandfather, I want, so that in the New Year the Ukrainian SOF will be exactly like the Delta group, Navy SEALs, British SAS/SBS and Israeli Sayeret Matkal commandos rolled into one. And let the Muscovites hang themselves with envy. Glory to Ukraine!".

It goes without saying that the “document” is replete with details on how to properly conduct special, anti-sabotage, counter-terrorism, air assault and other operations. For greater importance, data on the staffing levels of battalions and companies of the MTR was cut out from the “document”. Reading the “document,” the old joke “I know sambo, karate, kung fu, jiu-jitsu, aikido and many other scary words” pops into my head.

When in the text of the “document” there are passages like “Ukrainian special forces are intended to kidnap the leadership of enemy states, as well as prepare the escape of Ukrainian prisoners of war,” I want to find out the address and call a psychiatric emergency room for them.

From all this verbal husk, only one thing is clear: if Ukrainian special forces are created, it will not be “in general,” but aimed exclusively at confrontation with Russia.

However, the price of Svidomo plans has long been known: they are cheaper than the paper they are printed on. In fact, all reforms of the Ukrainian Special Forces are associated with the personality of the current head of the USO (Special Operations Directorate under the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), Colonel Krivonos. When it comes to Krivonos, Ukrainian “experts” do not skimp on praise and shower praise on the colonel, calling him nothing less than “legendary.”

Having heard at one time about the legends of the Soviet special forces, who had daring and effective operations behind enemy lines during the Great Patriotic War and in Afghanistan, I wanted to know what kind of luminary such a Ukrainian “commando” lived with us for one period of time.

And what? It is enough to dig shallowly to discover a typical case when the Ukrainian public urgently needs to present at least some failed “hero” according to the principle “for lack of a cook, they bend the janitor.”

So, Sergey Krivonos, born in 1970. In 1988, he began military service in the ranks of the SA and served in the reconnaissance battalion. Not in special forces - in the divisional ORB. At the end of his military service, he entered the Kiev VOKU, which at one time forged personnel for tactical military reconnaissance. History is silent about what Krivonos did before 2014, although there is fragmentary, chilling information that the luminary once served in various remote corners, that he used a kerosene lamp in everyday life. Well, remembering the many-hour power outages in the mid-late 90s, we can safely say that the whole of Ukraine has turned into a remote corner.

And now, the war in Donbass. What scope for an enterprising little man to make a career out of killing and robbing yesterday’s fellow citizens! It turns out that the whole legend of Krivonos consisted of sitting for two months in the area of the Kramatorsk airfield, protecting the runway from possible arrivals of enemy landing forces and saboteurs.

Moreover, the “legend” fought completely surrounded by the small forces of Strelkov’s militia. All “special operations” carried out by Krivonos, especially raids and organizing the partisan movement, are terribly classified. In short, Elusive Joe, but is considered a fierce authority on airborne and special operations among his colleagues.

He was awarded a home-made order “People's Hero of Ukraine” in the form of a fork with a vertically sharpening knife hanging from the block in the colors of the flag of the upland and pravoseki.

The gilding peels off the “legend” in whole footcloths, if you read the messages of the notorious Maidan propagandist Yuri Butusov, head of the Turchynovsky cistern “Censor.net”.

“The only problem is that the Special Forces in Ukraine still cannot fight for their intended purpose. Yes, there is a war going on, but Ukrainian special forces are not carrying out a single operation to eliminate and capture terrorist leaders and Russian officers, to destroy headquarters, or to mine roads for humanitarian convoys and Russian troops. During the war, individual special forces units occasionally performed the tasks for which they were trained. But cases when ambushes and raids were carried out, deep searches were carried out, reconnaissance in the deep rear, mining of roads in the rear and the destruction of strategic enemy targets, installation of signal equipment, capture of prisoners - are literally isolated. Instead of carrying out tasks, concentrating forces and means to conduct special operations, the special forces throughout the war were deprived of the opportunity to work in their specialty.”

Let’s leave aside the complaints of the idiot and the scoundrel about unrealistic sabotage against Russian humanitarian convoys and the insufficient activity of the Ukrainian “Rambo”. Something else is important here.

Translated into human language, this means that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine soberly assess the capabilities and training of Bandera’s special forces. And conclusions from this are drawn accordingly. The reluctance to use their “commandos” in deep and special operations stems from an understandable desire not to get caught up in another shameful scandal with the showing on TV of extinct “rangers” caught by the anti-sabotage services of the Ministry of State Security of the LDPR. Otherwise, nothing would prevent them from using the MTR for its intended purpose. So much for the “legend”...

As the same Butusov reports, the “legendary” Krivonos is not allowed to reform the Ukrainian MTR by enemies from the General Staff headed by Muzhenko. They say that Muzhenko is offended by Krivonos - by the will of Geletey, who disappeared over the horizon, he replaced Muzhenko’s sidekick Nazarkin as head of the USO. And now the “legend” is not allowed to get a cannon shot near NATO advisers, they send just anyone. Enemies entrenched in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine even disrupted joint exercises of the Special Forces with NATO and for NATO money near Khmelnytsky. In addition, the “authoritative and legendary” Krivonos has not been able to receive full powers and command over the Special Forces from the General Staff for a year now. Muzhenko forbade it. In short, it's a blast, my pants got wet at the wrong time and my phone died. Otherwise they would have shown it!

Thus, the organization and reforms of the Ukrainian MTR are in full swing, predictably sliding from loud statements into containers and bars with behind-the-scenes squabbling, in order to prevent a competitor from riding a new tasty financial flow. Let us wish them further success in this path!
