Putin: a monument to the Nazi who exterminated Jews was erected in Poroshenko’s patrimony
In solving Ukrainian problems, “the ball is in the Ukrainian court.” Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this today, speaking at a meeting of the Valdai Club.

“They made a decision on the language. Hungary was indignant, Romania and Poland were partly indignant. But in general, the European Union is silent. Now a monument to Simon Petlyura has been erected. This is a man of Nazi views, an anti-Semite who exterminated Jews. Except for the Zionist Congress, everyone is silent. You feel sorry for your clients in Kyiv. This is not done by the Ukrainian people, but by the ruling structures,” Putin said.
He noted that both Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron are trying to influence Ukraine, but, in his opinion, they are not making sufficient efforts.
“Until the realization comes that it is impossible to solve the problem without influencing the other side, nothing will happen,” Putin concluded.
