The first two actions took place on Saturday, March 1, after which posters remained hanging on the metal fence of the embassy: “Putin, take your rake away from Ukraine!”, “No to war!”, “Our children do not want war!”, “No to war! We want peace! Crimea is ours! Vova, don’t touch Vitya - he’s contagious!”, “The main enemy in your country, the main enemy sits in the Kremlin!”, “HUTIN PUY”, “Putin is a Muscovite! Don’t blame Ukraine!”, “Kiselyov, shut your mouth. You are a propagandist!”, “No to war, Crimea is Ukraine”, “Russia, get out of Crimea!”, “Ukraine is united, Putin is out of Crimea!”, “Putin, I’m Russian! Protect me from yourself!”, “Azerbaijan - Karabakh! Ukraine – Crimea!”, “Crimea, we love you!”, “Putin! Stop the war!”, “We are for the freedom of Ukraine!”, “Putin, didn’t Yanukovych bite your neck?”, “Russia is an evil empire”, “We are against fascism, intervention”, “Putin, we don’t need your “protection”, calm down! and others in Ukrainian, Russian and English. Some posters were accompanied by a fascist swastika (the Russian government was compared to the fascists).
Today's action brought together about a hundred young people (some were even with young children). The picket was spontaneous. There were no people's deputies, no party leaders and banners of political forces. There were only three flags of Ukraine and two banners of the Crimean Tatar Majlis. Some picket participants openly displayed their Russian passports.
About 20 security guards in civilian clothes, but with blue and yellow ribbons, as well as five young people with self-defense symbols of the Solomensky district of Kyiv lined up in front of the embassy fence. There was complete understanding between the guardians of law and order. Moreover, the youths from the self-defense were without masks and without any weapons, they did not even have wooden sticks.
Many citizens of the Russian Federation came to today’s rally, holding passports with a double-headed eagle and a poster “We are Russians against intervention in Ukraine!”, “I am Russian. Putin, calm down, everything is OK with me!”, “Russia, go away!”, “Russia, leave Crimea!”, “Stop PUTLER.” Some posters had a caricature of Putin - half of Stalin's face, half of Putin's face.
Among the participants, a group stood out that held homemade posters printed on a printer: “Putin’s fascism will not pass,” “Putin is a fascist!”, “Winston Churchill said: “The fascists of the future will call themselves anti-fascists.” The young people answered the correspondent’s questions absolutely without hesitation, both in Russian and Ukrainian; they felt a decent higher education and confidence in their convictions.
Then the youth gathered in a circle and performed a kind of flash mob, during which everyone chanted “Ukraine! Ukraine! We are Ukrainians, we are Europeans, Putin is gone!”
New posters also appeared: “Katerina - 1775, Hitler - 1941, Putin - 2014”, “Brother’s name is Cain”, fascist swastikas on the Russian tricolor.
