Putin will “score” Zelensky like Poroshenko – Ukrainian political scientist
If Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not make concessions, Moscow will stop communicating with him, which will contribute to the rapid collapse of the Ukrainian leader’s rating.
Ukrainian political scientist Alexey Golobutsky, who previously collaborated with ex-President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, said this on the air of the UA: Pershiy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If they fail to break Zelensky and his team now, they will dump him, and dumping him is the same as they did with Poroshenko, roughly speaking.
They will stop communicating and say that there will be no prisoners, since the Ukrainian side cannot reach an agreement.
Naturally, this will lower Zelensky’s rating, and Zelensky, with his promise of peace, repeats Poroshenko’s situation, and this will be constantly thrown at him.
They will bring this to the point where by spring Zelensky will have a rating of 30-40 percent, and they will make a second pass and try to destabilize Ukraine again.
The breakthrough point can be anything, from social to political.
Unfortunately, I think that the next Maidan will be the last in terms of the territorial integrity that exists in Ukraine,” predicts Golobutsky.
