President Vladimir Putin announced this at a meeting of the Russian Security Council on Tuesday.

“The grouping of NATO troops on the territory of Eastern European states is demonstratively strengthening, including in the waters of the Baltic and Black Seas. The scale and intensity of operational and combat training are growing,” the head of state noted.

Therefore, he emphasized, “it is necessary to fully and on time implement all planned measures to strengthen defense capabilities, including in Crimea and Sevastopol, where we have to actually rebuild the military infrastructure from scratch.”
