There is no alternative to the Minsk agreements, which provide for a special status for Donetsk and Lugansk to be enshrined in the Constitution of Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this today at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Kyiv they either say that they will comply with them, or they say that this will destroy their country. The current president recently stated that he does not like a single point of the Minsk agreements. Like it, don’t like it - be patient, my beauty. We must fulfill it. It won’t work out any other way,” Putin said.
He stressed that Kyiv must speak directly with Donetsk and Lugansk.
