Putin is still supported by more than 80% of Russians – opinion poll
The approval rating for the activities of the Russian President in November is 82,6%.

This is evidenced by data from a poll conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion.
In 2014-2015, Vladimir Putin’s rating was 87%. In 2016 it decreased, but consistently exceeds 80%.
Assessments of the Russian government's performance have been rising for the third month in a row: from 53,6% to 60,2 in November. The approval rating for the activities of the State Duma of the Russian Federation increased by two percent - to almost 48%. 46,6% of respondents expressed approval of the work of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
Among public institutions, Russians express the greatest support and approval for the army (82,8%), as well as the Russian Orthodox Church (71,2%), and the media (62,5%). The political opposition has the lowest approval rate compared to the others, while the shares of positive (34,4%) and negative (36,1%) answers are almost equal.
An initiative all-Russian survey by VTsIOM was conducted on November 19-20, 2016 in 130 settlements in 46 regions, territories and republics and 8 federal districts of Russia. Sample size: 1600 people.
