Putin was promised to spend 100 billion ahead of schedule for the development of Sevastopol

100 billion rubles have been allocated for the development of Sevastopol as part of the targeted federal program for the development of Crimea and various national projects.

Acting Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev reported this to Russian President Vladimir Putin today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He believes that the city will be able to absorb such gigantic amounts.
“They are absolutely achievable, for some positions, I think Sevastopol will be able to complete them even ahead of schedule, taking into account the funds allocated under the federal target program,” Razvozhaev is quoted as saying by the Kremlin’s official website.

At the same time, he admitted that in the past there were problems with the use of funds allocated by the state.

“In 2018, public investments failed. This is precisely due to the fact that a large amount of money was not invested in construction projects, because the competitions did not take place and the contractors delayed. The state invests a huge amount of money, but with construction there are certain difficulties with contractors and with the quality of work,” Razvozhaev said.
