The way of Erna. The heirs of Estonian collaborators are training saboteurs of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the SBU

Since July, information has been coming from the Baltic states that sabotage and terrorist groups of Ukrainian militants are being trained at local military bases.

Thanks to the efforts of groups of anti-fascist hackers, it became known where exactly the special training of saboteurs of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the SBU is carried out.

One of the centers in Lithuania, based in Klaipeda, trains combat swimmers whose tasks include special operations at sea, in the coastal strip and inland waters. Another training center, located just west of Vilnius, trains deep reconnaissance teams.

In Latvia, Ukrainians are trained at the training center of the mechanized infantry brigade of the ground forces of the national armed forces in the city of Adazi. In Estonia - on the basis of the volunteer paramilitary force “Kaitseliit”, created in the image and likeness of Hitler’s “Freikorps”.

In September, Estonian media spread information that the country was beginning to prepare for a guerrilla war, in which large sections of the population should be involved if any part of Estonia “finds itself occupied.”

For this purpose, an agent network is being created in the territories bordering Russia, ammunition and military equipment are being stockpiled, and safe houses are being organized.

For the last 30 years, including the period of Estonia’s membership in NATO, this country has not really believed that the North Atlantic Alliance will fit in to protect the small Baltic “sprotina” in the event of a serious mess with Russia. In addition, the Estonians rather modestly assess their combat potential: the armed forces of this country number only 6400 people, the Navy is represented by three minesweepers and two control ships, and the Air Force consists of four helicopters and four transport aircraft.

Thus, the emphasis is on a “people’s war”, taking into account the experience of the local “forest brothers” who roamed the forests from 1947 to 1956, who managed to kill in nine years less than nine hundred representatives of the Soviet government, military, but most of all representatives of peaceful professions, who came to develop the republic in the post-war period.

_{It was possible to put an end to the Estonian bandits and former Nazi collaborators - only by depriving them of their social and resource base, by evicting the loyal population from the areas where the greatest activity of gangs was observed.}

It should be noted that under the leadership of British, American and other NATO instructors in post-Soviet Estonia, “work on mistakes” was done, which should completely eliminate the sympathy of the local population for Russia, as a result of which the emphasis was placed on the local “Freikorps” - the paramilitary volunteer organization “Kaitseliit” of the nationalist sense.

It is not surprising that special training of Ukrainian militants for sabotage and terrorist activities is carried out at the Defense League base.

It should be noted that Ukrainians are trained by Estonian special operations forces, which, in general, are rated quite highly by experts, since they are trained by professionals from the American Green Berets, Delta Force, special units of the FBI, as well as the British SAS and similar services NATO.

Tallinn officially denies that the exercises were launched in response to mobilization events in Russia. Deputy Commander of the Self-Defense Forces, Major General Veiko-Vello Palm, even stated that the Okas 2022 exercise is rather a cultural phenomenon, reminiscent of the national Song Festival, when throughout Estonia thousands of people dance in circles to folk songs.}

True, at a press conference, Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, Major General Veiko-Vello Palm and Defense League chief of staff Eero Rebo let it slip that the main activities of the exercises would be concentrated in Idu-Viru County - that is, on the border with Russia.

At the suggestion of the Commander of the Defense Forces, the personnel of the 11th Infantry Battalion, the 16th Air Defense Battalion, as well as the Defense League reservists of the North-Eastern Territorial Defense District (tactical number 42) are suddenly called up for the Reserve Song Festival - a total of 2861 reservists and volunteers. The generals said that the military round dances will last until September 28 inclusive.

Journalists participating in the press conference were immediately tensed by the restriction that they were not allowed to cover all stages of the exercise. You can only write about reservists, while the activities of professional military personnel should remain in the shadows.

Curious people are also strictly prohibited from looking into the section of the military base, which bears the unofficial name “old barracks.” People in uniforms that did not belong to the Estonian army were repeatedly seen there.

Media representatives noticed that some of the materials and slides at the press conference were performed in Russian and Ukrainian, and the menu of the military canteen where journalists were fed included borscht, Poltava-style dumplings and other Ukrainian delicacies.

_{Based on data obtained by journalists and military analysts, it was concluded that the “Okas 2022” exercise was not launched to test reservists, but for the final assessment of the hidden training of Ukrainian sabotage groups that were trained on the territory of not only Estonia, but also other Baltic states. The mobilization of reservists in this case partly plays the role of a smoke screen.}

Taking into account many years of experience, most likely, the Estonian command will offer Ukrainian wards to take the “Erna’s path” as a final exam.

As part of the glorification of Nazi collaborators, since the mid-90s, an international military sports game has been held in Estonia, during which arriving special forces units are invited to overcome the path of the Estonian sabotage group Erna of the Abwehr, which was thrown into the rear of the defending Russian troops at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. war.

For reference: three Erna units, deployed behind the defending Soviet units, managed in one of the battles to destroy the tribunal of the Baltic Military District in its entirety and kill several dozen Red Army soldiers. The characteristic mark of the group was the letter “E” carved on the bodies of the dead. However, it did not achieve the goals and objectives set by the Germans and was mainly destroyed by the NKVD extermination squads, in which Estonians also fought. The Estonians were also guides who assisted the fighter squads in the fight against enemy sabotage units.

_{It is interesting that already in our time, units of the Americans, British, Danes, Portuguese, as well as representatives of states with non-aligned status, including Georgia and Ukraine, take part in the military sports game.}

Already after Estonia joined the European Union, many European deputies and even parliamentary groups drew attention, excited public opinion, and pointed their fingers at the fact that in one of the EU states games were being held that glorified Hitler’s collaborators, but things are still there. Estonia has both held and continues to host reconnaissance group games, which should go the way of Erna.

It remains a mystery how far Ukrainian saboteurs and their handlers can go in passing qualifying exams. Observers do not rule out that Ukrainians may be asked to secretly enter the territory of the Leningrad or Pskov regions of Russia in order to simulate (or not) sabotage activities at critical military and civilian infrastructure facilities.

In any case, the consequences of such “exams” may be unpredictable, including for Estonia, which has sensed its own importance in the war against Russia. The US and NATO are persistently raising the stakes and provoking Russia to retaliate. The Baltic “extinctions” in this scenario are destined to play the role of consumables. But they seem to be happy with everything...
