Drunk Maidan activists and Mejlis members shamefully failed the action on the border with Crimea
A small group of people with Ukrainian and Mejlis flags deployed for more than two hours on the border with Crimea, and eventually went to rally towards Genichesk.
This is how the action took place today at the Chongar border post with Crimea, Crimean journalist Sergei Veselovsky writes in his blog.
“At 10.00, as stated by Vorobyov and Co., we took up a position on the bridge. In the distant distance a swarming crowd with Tatar and Ukrainian flags could be seen. In addition to the flags, the “non-Muscovites” brought with them a box of vodka (we saw it in a special device), which they dragged into the hangar. About an hour later, the “warmer” heroes set off on their way to the Ukrainian border post, where they were stuck for a long time... At about 14.15, the “protesters” unfurled their flags, turned their backs to us and made “Alga”. I mean, they headed back towards Genichesk, where they decided to hold a funeral meeting,” Veselovsky wrote.
The Ukrainian media present the event that took place in Kherson as a feat and especially quote the statement of the head of the local Regional State Administration, Alexander Vorobyov: “Ukrainians are a patient nation. But if sanctions do not help, the time will soon come when we will be fully combat-ready and liberate the Crimeans and the occupied parts of Ukraine from Russian occupation.”
