Drunk soldiers destroyed a store in Stanitsa Luganskaya with rifle butts
Soldiers of the 46th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in a deranged phase of alcoholic intoxication, broke a window and threatened to burn down the store for refusing to sell them alcohol.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, stated this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We continue to receive information about facts of gross violation of law and order and military discipline by militants of the armed forces of Ukraine in the zone of the punitive operation. According to reports from local residents, on October 11, in the village of Stanitsa Luganskaya, three armed servicemen of the 46th brigade, while intoxicated, arrived at the store in a Ural car to buy more.
Due to the inappropriate behavior of the military, the seller refused to sell them alcoholic beverages, to which there was an immediate reaction from the militants, who smashed the store window with machine gun butts and threatened to burn it down,” said a department representative.
According to him, under threat of reprisal, the seller was forced to give up the goods, after which he called the police.
“In order to conduct an investigation into this fact, a VSP commission is working in the connection. Fearing punishment, brigade commander Kotenko is trying to reach an agreement with law enforcement officers not to report this incident to the headquarters of OTG “North,” added Filiponenko.
