Drunk Armed Forces officers on the electronic warfare complex drove straight to the positions of the LPR NM
Due to drunkenness among personnel, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' coverage of electronic warfare equipment used to intercept OSCE drones was temporarily stopped.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, spoke about this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said that SMM drones revealed the deployment of military equipment of the 30th and 93rd brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in residential areas of settlements in territory controlled by Ukraine. This discovery was associated with an incident that occurred in the Popasnaya area with the participation of a crew from the 20th separate electronic warfare battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which resulted in a temporary cessation of the work of this mobile group.
“So, the crew of the electronic warfare station “Bukovel-AD” was detained by the VSP patrol while intoxicated in one of the entertainment establishments in the village of Popasna. The soldiers resisted law enforcement officers and tried to escape using special equipment, hastily choosing the direction towards the LPR NM checkpoint in the area of the Molodezhnoe settlement.
Our observers recorded the movement of an electronic warfare station along a country road, which stopped in the interposition space five hundred meters from the positions of the defenders of the republic. After long negotiations with VSP employees, the militants finally surrendered to law enforcement officers,” Osadchiy said.
He added that during the arrest, one soldier resisted and was taken to the Popasnyansky railway hospital with a traumatic brain injury under the guise of a civilian; two of his colleagues were detained.
