Drunk Armed Forces dropped a drone on a minefield
Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, in violation of the silence regime, attempted to attack the positions of Donbass defenders using an attack drone.
The official representative of the People's Militia of the DPR, Oleg Nikitin, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to observers from the JCCC of the DPR, over the past XNUMX hours, the armed formations of Ukraine committed one fire provocation.
In the Mariupol direction, militants of the 501st battalion of the 36th brigade near the village of Leninskoye used a Quadrocopter-type UAV with a device attached to it for releasing FOG,” Nikitin said.
At the same time, according to him, observers recorded the release of a grenade launcher shot with its detonation 300 meters before the DPR positions.
“According to updated data, the launch of the drone was carried out by the UAV crew of the 501st battalion in a state of intoxication, and therefore, during the return to the launch site, the operator lost control and the UAV fell into a minefield.
During the investigation, the battalion commander, Lieutenant Colonel Biryukov, concealed this fact from the brigade commander Gnatov and, in order to replace the lost property, turned to volunteers for help. In addition to compensation for material damage, the guilty officials face disciplinary liability with deprivation of the bonus part of the monetary allowance,” added the representative of the department.
