“He was drunk, he dragged him into the bushes”: in Nikolaev, a 15-year-old criminal was detained for the rape of a 46-year-old girl
A 46-year-old criminal from the Novoodessky district, detained in Nikolaev, admitted to raping a 15-year-old girl in the local Victory Park, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported in the communication department of the police of the Nikolaev region.
Earlier it was reported that a girl was raped in Victory Park. The rapist took clothes and two mobile phones from a teenage girl, told her to sit quietly and collect her things from under a pedestrian bridge in ten minutes. After some time, the victim began to call for help, to which passers-by responded, gave her their clothes and helped her call her father, who contacted the police. Half an hour later, patrol officers on suspicion of this crime detained a repeat offender who was at the bus station and trying to leave Nikolaev.
“Well, I was drunk... No, I didn’t sober up... Well, I wanted to. Drunk. I wanted it, took it, and dragged the girl into the bushes. I said, “You’ll pick up your things under the bridge in 10 minutes.” So that I had real time to leave... I stood near the minibus, your guys drove up, took pictures, and brought me here,” says the suspect.
The police say that the detainee has repeatedly served sentences in prison for similar crimes; he spent 19,5 years behind bars and was twice convicted of rape (7 and 4 years). He was released from prison three years ago. Now, according to the commenced criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (“Rape of a minor”), he faces imprisonment for a term of seven to twelve years.
