A drunken Ukrainian brigade commander broke a soldier's ribs for refusing to go get vodka.
The commander of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units located in Donbass, while intoxicated, severely beat his subordinate for refusing to find more alcohol.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the moral and psychological state of Ukrainian military personnel remains at an extremely low level.
“On November 16, the platoon commander of the third battalion of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine beat a subordinate soldier in a state of alcoholic intoxication for refusing to look for additional alcohol for his commander, as a result of which the victim ended up in a medical institution with fractured ribs and a closed craniocerebral injury,” said Filiponenko.
A representative of the defense department noted that the commander of the Ukrainian brigade, Colonel Gennady Shapovalov, is carefully trying to hide this fact from senior management.
