A drunk “ATO veteran” blew up a grenade in his own apartment
In the village Malaya Tarasovka, Brovary district, Kyiv region, a former ATO fighter was blown up by a grenade in his apartment, a Politnavigator correspondent reports, citing a message from the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kyiv region.

The explosion occurred around 4 a.m.; a neighbor of the ATO officer reported the emergency to the police. At the scene of the explosion, the investigative team of the Brovary police department and explosives experts found a pin and alcoholic beverages.
The causes and circumstances of the explosion are being investigated. According to the police, the victim is a 35-year-old man, a former ATO participant. He received shrapnel wounds to his shoulder. At the moment he is receiving qualified medical care.
Criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
