A drunken platoon commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shot his subordinates fleeing from combat positions
The commander of a platoon of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Joint Forces Operation zone, while intoxicated, opened fire from a machine gun at his soldiers who were trying to leave their combat positions.
Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, on June 18, near the village of Troitskoye, a platoon commander of one of the units of the 30th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while intoxicated, opened fire with a machine gun on three servicemen who attempted to leave their positions.
“As a result of the incident, the servicemen were injured and, in order to conceal this fact, are being treated in one of the hospitals in the Troitsky district,” Filiponenko said.
