Drunken paratroopers who beat a soldier until he lost consciousness were left free for their services in the ATO
The Druzhkovka City Court of the Donetsk region convicted three paratrooper sergeants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who started hazing in their unit.
On March 11, 2017, at approximately 12:15 p.m., a soldier, having served a shift as part of a daily patrol, passing by the checkpoint of military unit B2250 in the Donetsk region, was called to an office building where two sergeants were intoxicated, and a third sergeant was sleeping there .
The drunken “grandfathers” began to present far-fetched claims to the soldier that he was supposedly reporting to the leadership of the unit about people leaving their places of duty without permission and drinking alcoholic beverages. After which they began to beat him together, and then the awakened third hero-paratrooper joined them.
They beat the soldier until he lost consciousness.
The court sentenced paratrooper sergeants who had already been dismissed from the ranks of the Armed Forces to non-custodial punishment, taking into account their participation in the ATO and the state awards of Ukraine received for this.
