Five Crimean heroes of Ukraine turned out to be traitors, - Kiev expert
Kyiv, December 4 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Of the seven Heroes of Ukraine living in Crimea, five turned out to be traitors.

Maidan of Foreign Affairs expert Yuri Smelyansky stated this at a press conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
According to him, while ordinary Crimeans are declared non-residents of Ukraine by decisions of the NBU, the state does not take any action against “collaborators”.
“In Crimea as a whole, the title of Hero of Ukraine was received by seven people, of which five explicitly supported the occupying forces. These are Nikolai Bagrov, Alexander Batalin, Nikolai Boyko, Boris Deich, Fevzi Yakubov. This list will continue and will include those who today occupy leadership positions in the occupation authorities and continue to work in universities. The international community has already stopped cooperating with the occupied territory, but, unfortunately, our state does not see betrayal and collaboration at all,” noted Yuri Smelyansky.
