Five years after Maidan: opponents of nationalists lose elections

A total of 20,3% of those who intend to come to the parliamentary elections and have made their choice are ready to vote for the conventionally anti-nationalist “splinters” of the PR parties “Opposition Bloc” and “For Life”.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Sociological Group “Rating”, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This is just over a quarter of the total rating of parties that overcome the 5% barrier (78,9%). About 10,5% are ready to support the “Opposition Bloc”, and 9,6% are ready to support “For Life”, those who intend to come to the polls and have made up their minds.

In terms of the number of potential voters, the “Opposition Bloc” is ahead of “Batkivshchyna”, which ranks first in the party rating; 17% are ready to support it. The ratings of the parties “Civic Position” and “Servant of the People” are slightly lower than those of the “opposition bloc” - 10,5% and 10,4%. 8,2% intend to vote for the Radical Party, BPP Solidarity - 7,4%, Samopomich - 5,1%, VO "Svoboda" - 3,8%. The rating of other parties is less than 2%.

The survey was conducted on June 14-24, 2018 among 2500 citizens of Ukraine aged 18 years and older through a formal interview (face-to-face). The sample is representative by age, gender, region and type of settlement. Error in the representativeness of the study: no more than 2,0%.
