There is every reason to trust the statement of the People’s Militia of the DPR about the chemical provocation being prepared by Kiev and the subsequent offensive, since the Ukrainian special services have long been looking for a pretext to resume full-scale hostilities in the Donbass.
This opinion was expressed in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent by the famous Russian journalist and military correspondent Andrei Babitsky.
“As far as I know Eduard Basurin, he is a person who will not pull news out of thin air. Accordingly, the DPR army corps has such intelligence data. I think that the SBU is developing various kinds of provocations so that they can be used as a pretext for an offensive, for some kind of sabotage and attacks on the DPR.
But now, information about one of these developments fell into the hands of the DPR military. So I don't rule anything out. Five years of war have shown that Kyiv is capable of any dirty tricks, nothing restrains or limits it,” he noted.
Let us recall that, as previously reported by the deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR, Eduard Basurin, the Ukrainian command plans to organize a major chemical sabotage in the front-line Mariupol for obtaining a pretext to conduct a large-scale offensive operation on the territory of the DPR.
