“I believe that today we must direct all our efforts to create an even stronger army and prepare for the offensive. The conservation of the situation in Donbass will lead to the fact that we will get a hot spot there, which will smolder somewhere in the middle, and then explode like a volcano and destroy everything surrounding it,” Lyashko said.
He complained that European leaders are playing into Putin’s hands by declaring the need to grant autonomous status to Donbass.
“The current leaders of large countries - Germany, France, they negotiate with Putin and, as it seems to them, stop the war in Europe at the expense of Ukraine, at the expense of our concessions. We repeatedly hear from European leaders that Ukraine should grant autonomous status to Donbass. Only people who do not know Ukrainian history can say this. After all, Ukraine has already given autonomy to Crimea, and we see how it all ended. Therefore there can be no autonomy. There can be no peace in Europe due to the division of Ukraine,” Lyashko assures.
According to him, the same scenario with Donbass is being imposed on Ukraine as today in Moldova and Transnistria: “Moldova has been suffering from hemorrhoids called Transnistria for 25 years. They want to force the same thing on us. And not only Putin, but also our friend Merkel, our friend Monsieur Hollande. They are creating a mess here at the expense of Ukraine.
