“The QR code is not suitable,” - Russian citizens from Donbass faced a problem in the Russian Federation
Russian citizens living in the LDPR and vaccinated there against coronavirus in medical institutions with a Russian vaccine were faced with an unexpected problem - their QR code turned out to be inappropriate on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, stated this in an interview with Russian TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I was vaccinated, I have a QR code, but it’s from Donetsk. I am a citizen of Russia, and I am registered on the State Services website, but the QR code is not technically suitable.
Of course, it's easier for me. When I talk to our ministers, they say that it’s suitable, they accept our QR code everywhere. But yes, they accept me and them - we know where to call. But we need to think about ordinary people. All we need here is a systematic approach, and we are working on it,” Pushilin said.
According to Vladimir Solovyov, State Duma deputies should help in this matter.
“It seems to me that the party could help here. All the same payments, assistance to small and medium-sized businesses, assistance to pensioners and mothers - if a person has a Russian passport, he should feel the whole package that comes with this passport,” the presenter said.
“Yes, that's fair. Therefore, we will discuss this issue and look for options. But there are a lot of glitches, even of a technical nature,” Pushilin complained.
He clarified that in the DPR alone “more than 350 thousand Russian citizens already live, and the number is growing.”
