The publication's interlocutor noted that Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko said that he continues to consider him guilty, and the prosecutor's office is going to appeal the decision of the appeal court.
“People in the know told me that they just want me to keep my criminal record. Then I wouldn’t be able to run for parliament, for example,” the journalist said, adding that it’s difficult to go into politics alone.
“You see, we need a team right away,” Kotsaba noted. - Alone is difficult. I see how Nadya Savchenko was trampled, although she began to say smart things. But in such cases I say: “the headquarters write, the headquarters read.” So, don't let him get upset. By the way, I interviewed her when she served in Aidar. Honestly, Vadim Rabinovich suggested that I go into politics. And then I met with him separately. He explained that I needed to look for some kind of team anyway, because without a team I would be finished in two weeks.”
At the same time, the journalist clarified that Vadim Rabinovich, together with Yevgeny Muraev, who recently left the “Opposition Bloc” faction in the Verkhovna Rada, invited him to join his new party, however, he has not yet decided what to do.
“I don’t know, I need to get used to the fact that I’m free first,” says Kotsaba. – Because everything reminds me that I was recently in prison. I'm afraid to cut food with a knife because I haven't held one in my hands for two years. That is, I first need to rehabilitate myself psychologically, and then think about politics. But, honestly, I don’t believe that this government will allow re-elections, because then they will be over. If the government changes, they will be immediately imprisoned.”
