Employees of the Novokakhovsky plant, who demanded the repayment of wage debts, received summons to the army

Last week, on May 21, a picket was held near the walls of the Verkhovna Rada of workers of the Novokakhovsky construction materials plant, who demanded that the deputy, former director of the enterprise Ivan Vinnik (Petro Poroshenko Bloc) return their wages. On the same day, the enterprise received 63 summonses from the Novokakhovsky City Military Commissariat.
“Taking advantage of his status as a people’s deputy, secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, Vinnik decided not to pay 1,5 million UAH in arrears in wages, but organized a summons for the employees to serve in the army,” - counted at the factory.
Summons were received by disabled people at work, as well as specialists of a narrow profile, without whom the enterprise would actually not be able to operate.
“At our enterprise, up to 95% of the staff are men, of which almost 30% received summonses. Our employees are ready to do their duty. But in this case, this is a clear abuse on the part of our former director, and now a people’s deputy, who is so zealously trying to organize a new wave of mobilization. We believe that the country's top leadership must stop such abuses. After all, how can one explain the fact that the summonses came to the participants of the rally on the day when we were all in Kyiv?” said the chairman of the labor collective council, Roman Novikov.
On May 21, workers of one of the largest aerated concrete plants in Eastern Europe (TOV Energy Product, Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region) came out to protest at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The rally participants demanded that Vinnik return their work books and pay back wages in the amount of UAH 1,5 million. The Novokakhovsk City Prosecutor's Office of the Kherson Region has opened a criminal case regarding this fact.
Due to the inaction of local officials and law enforcement officers, plant employees were forced to go out to a protest and appeal to President Petro Poroshenko, Speaker of Parliament Vladimir Groysman and head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense Sergei Pashinsky with a demand to take personal control of the situation.
During the rally, the people's deputy did not come out to the workers and residents of his district, in which he entered parliament.
