The Rada wants to legalize the fines of providers for access to Russian sites

The Rada is proposed to impose fines on providers who do not block access to Russian sites banned in Ukraine.

As noted in the document, providers will be fined 1% of their profits for the year for accessing prohibited sites. If the provider commits a violation again, he will receive an increased fine of up to 5% of profit for the year.

The bill also states that providers must purchase specialized equipment to block sites and control traffic.

Let us recall that in May, President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree blocking the social networks Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki, as well as Yandex services.
