Deputies supported the proposal of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Volodymyr Groysman to extend the Rada meeting until the completion of consideration of the agenda. 249 people's deputies out of 226 minimum required voted for the corresponding decision.
“We have developed the right package that will provide a fair taxation system, will provide an opportunity to fill the budget, but will not create problems for small and medium-sized businesses,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
According to him, the main principles of the bills are reducing taxes from 22 to 9, reducing social contributions, etc.
“We left a special taxation system for agricultural enterprises. That is, the volume of subsidies that we envisaged for agricultural producers will be maintained. As for VAT refunds for grain traders, they will not have such a right. This right will be exclusively for producers of these agricultural products,” Yatsenyuk said.
As PolitNavigator reported, protests are taking place near the Rada against the adoption of amendments to laws that worsen the situation of socially vulnerable categories, the so-called “poverty taxes.”
