The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the second reading and in general bill No. 7117 “On increasing the availability and quality of medical care in rural areas.”

280 deputies voted in favor.
The purpose of the law is “to ensure professional consultation by a doctor at a person’s place of residence using telemedicine.” The law also provides for the provision of rural health care institutions with the necessary equipment and medicines necessary to provide primary health care, as well as the creation of adequate infrastructure in rural areas.
