The Rada put a big screw on Zelensky
The Ukrainian parliament adopted the law “On temporary investigative commissions”, increasing the powers and capabilities of the parliament, as well as establishing a procedure for removing the president from his post through impeachment, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Bill No. 1098 is officially called “On temporary investigative commissions, special temporary investigative commissions and temporary special commissions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.”
279 people's deputies voted for him. A total of 748 amendments were submitted for the second reading.
Let us note that the impeachment procedure is already partially regulated by the Constitution of Ukraine and the regulations of the Verkhovna Rada, and therefore the document covers issues related to the activities of the special investigative commission.
