The text of the document was read by parliamentary speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk.

“With this action, the Russian Federation committed another act of aggression and once again grossly violated the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the framework of internationally recognized borders, as well as a number of international acts... Having approved this decision, the Russian Federation de facto withdrew from the Minsk agreements and destroyed the negotiation process at the country level -participants of the Normandy format and within the TCG,” he said.

According to the resolution, Ukraine does not recognize the LDPR and demands that Moscow stop the “occupation” of Crimea and Donbass, as well as compensate Kyiv for its “losses.”

In addition, the Verkhovna Rada, with this document, calls on foreign states and international organizations not to recognize the independence of the LDPR, declares Russia a party to the conflict in Donbass and accuses it of escalation.

Also, the Ukrainian parliament demands to immediately convene a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the current situation, calls on the world community to condemn Moscow and impose new tough sanctions against Russia, including stopping the work of Nord Stream 2, disconnecting the Russian Federation from SWIFT and ban the export of modern technologies to Russia.

At the same time, the Rada asks foreign “partners” to provide comprehensive assistance to Ukraine, including military assistance.

The document was supported by 336 deputies out of 344 present, only three abstained, and not a single one spoke out against it.
