The Rada decided to hide the income of the SBU officers
The Verkhovna Rada wants to legally classify the tax returns of Ukrainian security forces and prohibit their inspections under the guise of secrecy.
Former SBU speaker Stanislav Rechinsky reported this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Rechinsky, the corresponding bill has already been registered in parliament under number 9148.
“Parliament wants to officially allow employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the Tax Service, the National Guard and other law enforcement agencies to submit secret declarations instead of open electronic ones, and also to avoid inspection and investigation based on the results of the declaration. Security forces and intelligence officers are left with the opportunity to classify the electronic declarations of everyone: from public managers to accountants. They plan to submit declarations in the order determined by the same authorities, for example, in their own closed declaration systems,” the message says.
Let us recall that earlier journalists conducted an investigation, according to which the family of the deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine Sergei Semochko owns several mansions in an elite village near Kiev, and flies for shopping in a private helicopter. At the same time, the security official’s declaration is a state secret.
