The budget of Ukraine for 2019 was adopted without taking into account the needs of children with cancer.

The head of the parliamentary committee on health issues, Olga Bogomolets, stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“All those who voted for the budget without taking into account the needs of children with cancer - we were talking about 440 million UAH - all these people are accomplices of fraud and those thimbles who at night, without agreeing on the first and second readings, pushed through the extension of the law on international procurement, which was supposed to end next year, knowing that there are no medicines in Ukraine,” she said.

Previously, Olga Bogomolets addressed each deputy with a letter asking not to support the budget if the need for treatment of children with cancer is not taken into account 100%.
