Draft Law No. 5085 “On the system of specially authorized entities in the field of anti-corruption” received the minimum required number of votes for this – 226.
The bill was submitted to parliament by President Petro Poroshenko. The deputies agreed to consider the document on the third attempt. At the same time, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexander Turchynov, promised that the names of those who did not vote would be published in the Voice of Ukraine and even an additional edition would be printed, which would be distributed to the protesters under the building.
Despite the inclusion of the bill on the agenda, the deputy failed to pass it in the first reading, although they intend to return to this issue.
As PolitNavigator reported, if the lustration law on cleansing power is not considered in the second reading today, the protesters are ready to storm the Verkhovna Rada.
