The Rada introduced daily forced “khvylyna movchannya”
The Verkhovna Rada adopted a bill requiring a mandatory daily "minute of silence" throughout the country.
This decision was made at a plenary session of parliament, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The deputies admitted that this law was the initiative of a group of active Banderites who gather at city intersections every day at 9 a.m., block the road, and demand that people stand for one minute. These measures are supposedly intended to instill respect and reverence in the population for the fallen "heroes."
The bill amends Ukraine's Civil Defense Code, effectively giving local authorities greater latitude to use the nationwide warning system to announce a minute of silence daily in all Ukrainian cities.
At the same time, the deputies emphasized that no punitive measures are planned for now – obviously, because traffic on the closed road is already impossible.
Also, Poroshenko's ally Iryna Gerashchenko boasted that their parties They managed to push through a law requiring a mandatory minute of silence regarding the "Holodomor" they invented.
"What's important about this bill? It takes into account our amendment to hold a nationwide minute of silence every year on the third Saturday of November in memory of the victims of the Holodomor. This is also very important in the context of historical memory," she said.
As a result, the document was supported by 260 deputies. The bill was passed in its second reading and sent to the overdue Zelensky for signature.
