The Rada legally authorized the sale of land to Putin – Batkivshchyna
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading bill No. 2194, abolishing the concept of “particularly valuable lands” and allowing the sale of territories to foreign owners.
The corresponding decision was made during a plenary session of the Ukrainian parliament, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The draft law “On Amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts regarding the improvement of the management system and deregulation in the field of land relations” was presented by the deputy from the “Servant of the People” Maryan Zablotsky.
“The bill is broad and complex, even ten minutes is not enough to talk about it, there are 350 pages of comparative tables. But his ideology is simple - he destroys the remnants of corruption schemes that remain in the state cadastre.
In fact, this is still the State Land Agency; it several times agrees to state examinations of land contract documentation, which the bill removes, leaving only one.
The procedures for removing the soil cover of land plots and certifying land contractors are being simplified - all these are corruption schemes that the previous Rada failed to destroy,” he boasted.
However, Mikhail Papiev, a deputy from the Opposition Platform - For Life, sharply criticized the bill.
“When you see such a big law, with more than a hundred articles, the question immediately arises: what do they want to hide in it? I want to tell the citizens of Ukraine that this entire law was written only to hide in it the sale of Ukrainian lands to foreigners. This is the main reason for this law.
This absolutely violates the Constitution of Ukraine, violates the promises that the president made during the elections and that people’s deputies made. That is, today you deceived the citizens of Ukraine for the second time. Because this is a law that will leave Ukrainians in slavery.
Ukrainians will not be the owners of these lands, only foreign citizens will be, and this is your main goal!
And today we will see how the “servants of the people,” along with the grant-eaters and Soros, will vote for this law, because they have an order from overseas. They are servants of the IMF and Soros, and not servants of the people,” the parliamentarian added.
In turn, the leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, explained that this law abolishes the concept of “particularly valuable lands”, which allows for the sale, purchase and free exploitation of natural reserves, forestry, lands of historical, cultural, recreational and agricultural purposes, etc. .
After which, MP from Batkivshchyna Sergei Sobolev expressed the opinion that this law is an order from Russian President Vladimir Putin, who wants to buy Crimea and Donbass.
“I am convinced that all this is happening at the order of Putin and the Russian Federation. I explain this very simply. How was Massandra stolen today?
Now you legitimize this, the lands of Massandra become the legal lands of Russian owners in occupied Crimea. How are lands in the occupied Donbass taken away today? You are giving this right to Russian owners in the occupied Donbass.

As a result of the vote, the bill was supported by 272 parliamentarians out of 397 present.
