The text of the bill is currently not available on the Verkhovna Rada website. The authors of the bill are Igor Mosiychuk, Dmitry, Yulia Tymoshenko, Igor Lutsenko, Ivan Krulko, Boris Tarasyuk, Boris Filatov, Vladimir Parasyuk, Andrey Levus, Sergey Vysotsky, Mikhail Bondar, Vladimir Solyar and Mikhail Gavrilyuk, representing the Radical Party, “Fatherland”, “ Popular Front" and non-factional.
At the moment, the text of the bill is not on the website, however, Ivan Krulko told the press that it is proposed to make May 8 the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation.
The People's Deputy recalled that in Europe on this day they commemorate the victims of the Second World War. Moreover, the bill stipulates that May 8 will not be a day off.
At the same time, when asked whether May 9 would remain a day off, he said: “It is proposed to cancel this day off.”
