The owners of private enterprises in the DSD are mainly oligarchs, Samopomich said. According to people's deputies, the adoption of this bill will make it possible to attract an additional UAH 5 billion to the state budget by reducing the excess profit margin.
In addition, the deputies propose to extend transfer pricing standards to all sectors of the economy, without exception, including the chemical and metallurgical industries.
“This is precisely what will not allow the oligarchs to sell raw materials for processing to their own companies abroad for next to nothing, and then resell them at many times more expensive,” said People’s Deputy Oleg Berezyuk.
It is also proposed that the Verkhovna Rada introduce criminal liability for manipulation of VAT and severe penalties for non-payment of dividends by companies where there is a state share, in particular, this should affect PJSC Ukrnafta Igor Kolomoisky, which did not pay its shareholders, including the state, dividends totaling more than UAH 2 billion.
